Zbyslavice village is located about 15 km northwest of the county town of Ostrava and 6 km from the town Klimkovice, the hills with the highest elevation of 373 m, between the river valleys pstruhového Seziny and Polančice Odra River Basin. Village land is 740 ha, of which 292 ha of forests and 276 ha of arable land, which mainly manages ZD Slezan. In the village of 535 inhabitants now live. The first mention is from 1359, when the village formed a small independent kingdom, whose owners lived in a wooden fort, which was only a small knoll.
